Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. Should I or Should I not...

I have had the last couple of weeks off for the Holiday Season and during this time I have decided to fulfill a life long dream - to build my own kit car. At first, the idea sounds like a rewarding goal with the perfect end state goal, but the more that I read and think about all of the details that go into building a car; the more I start to question my own sanity. But as with any personal goal, I am the decision maker and the dream will not come true unless I act upon it.
So, after much research and reading other bloggers, I have decided to take a class that is offered by Factory Five Racing's (FFR) education partner "M-Tech" (http://www.factoryfive.com/rdsterhome.html). The next available 3 day class starts on 2/18 for which I signed up and paid the tuition today. I will continue to read and come up with my own design ideas between now and then holding off on any major purchases. There’s no need to spend a bunch of money on a kit and drive train without input from trained professionals who can help steer me in the right direction (pun intended).
There are so many decisions to be made over the next several weeks with input from Patty and Jacob; both approve and think the idea is great. First thing to do is to sell my Corvette so that I can clear out some room in the garage and also put a nice dent in the funding of this Cobra.
